Kernel update procedure

1.Copy_DSLINK_.NDS file to TF card root directory.

2.Enter the DSLink interface to run this NDS file then appears the Kernel update interface for update.User can also enter the Kernel update program by long pressing START key to start the NDS.

3.Press SELECT key in the update interface to begin the update. There will be progress notice when updating,when it appears the notice to turn off the power that means update successfully.

Note:If any error happened when updating, user can follow the instruction or restart to update by long pressing START key again. User can backup _DSLINK.NDS to any GBA backup card that can run NDS file to update DSLink.

1．Add 170 games Cheat files, so far 832 games are available for Cheat. And the former Cheat data has been supplemented and modified.

1.Add 114 CHT Cheats. So far there are 396 games that support Cheat. All of the Cheat data have been improved, the data that use a huge memery has been rewrote with compress format, by this mean, therefore, data memory has been decreased effectively, and is conveniet for NDS.

2.Change the initialize way of DSLink software. This initialize process takes no time, saving the time for starting the software.

3.Improve the processing part fo CHT files, make it less memory, faster processing speed.

4.Enhance indentification function of CHT files format. It can check out some format errors automatically, show the errors style and the wrong Cheat items on the Cheat managerment.

5.Enhance to support some special CHT file data format, therefore, some Cheats like 0928, can play now.

1.Enhance superpower NDS Cheat's functions
　
This new developled Cheat function is released by cooperating with the Cheat software EmuCheat that prevails in the simulator. So far there are 282 CHT cheat files. This new realized cheat functions follow the former Cheat's excellent functions on GBA. We try our best to make it perfect on functions and operation interface. Each item of Cheat can be started and setted seperately on NDS, which really make it do as you like. Parts of Cheat functions of DSLink can be charactered like this:

(1).Support Cheat management functions on PC. User can browse, add, delete and modify Cheat data, correspond the new added Cheat with ROM, etc.

　　(2).Each item of Cheat can be started and setted seperately on NDS. It supports multichoice when select Cheat on NDS. It supports multivalue on each choice, such as tools, weapons in the RPG games. More powerful functions, make it really do as you like.

(3).Correspond Cheat with ROM automatically. When adding ROM, only you select Cheat function, software will automatically check out the corresponding Cheat file, without finding it amony hundreds of files manually, which makes it really smart operation.
　
(4). Update Cheat files of new game conveniently.No need to wait for software update, for new game, user can copy Cheat file from internet to the corresponding folder anytime. After adding the new Cheat file, it will automatically rebuilt the index file of Cheat when open DSLink software.

Note:
　　
(1). Although Cheat function can lock hundreds of address one time, the quantity of Cheat selected is limited. It will show the quantity of Cheat selected on the bottom screen title while select Cheat data on NDS. If the quantity surplus 0x800, it will be red color, means that limitation surplus. We will solve this limitation problem step by step for the later version.
　
(2).Some special game will occur the hanging problem while using Cheat function, when this happens, please quit the Cheat and rewrite the ROM into game.

(3).Thanks for the friends who develop the EmuCheat, WDPQU,YDMIS,VicenteFox...

　　2.Support to show wheather the game supports Cheat or soft-reset function on the file list. This function will also be selected to start or close, which can be setted in the system.ini of the TF card. Support to change this sign icon, which format is 24 bit may of 16x16. Support the icon background to be transparent, file names of which are icon_cheat.bmp and icon_reset.bmp in the Skin folder of TF card.

1.ROM number in fornt of the file name will be automatically added when replaced by the Chinese name or English name, choose this function in the software setting.

2.Add the choice of ROM processing mode 2 in the software setting. If there is any problem when writting any rom in the mode of default, for example, it appears white sreen after heading cartoon in 0094, in this time user can try this mode 2. But the writting speed of the default processing mode is faster, mode 2 is not recommended at ususal time.

3.0193,0659,0804 support soft-reset function.

4.Solve the problem of 0836 that appears error and can not enter the game, and all are well after reseted using soft-reset function.

How to update kernel:

1.Copy _DSLINK_.NDS file to the root directory in the TF card.

2.Enter DSLink's interface to run this NDS file, and then appears the kernel update interface. User can also enter kernel update by long pressing START key.

3.Click SELECT key to start updating in the update interface. It has schedule sign, and updates successfully when it shows to shut off the power.

Note: If there is any accidental error while updating, user can follow the sign on the screen or long pressing START key to restart NDS to update it again. And user can also copy _DSLINK.NDS file to any other GBA flash card which can run NDS file to update DSLink.

In additon, since time is limited, some saver problems(0547,0696,0727) that have not been solved in this version and the update of GBALink software will both be solved in the near future.

DSLink software 1.60 version

1.Add the export function of saver, it can export the DSLink special saver to the normal saver format. Right click on the file list box, and choose on the pop-up menu to use. Saver export function will automatically identify the format of saver according to the current saver data, choose the proper export paremeter. But it needs to choose the correct export parameter manually to export the saver again if the saver exported is disable.

2.Enhance the compatibility of soft-reset function, some games that appear white screen or black screen if added soft-reset function are now avaible, like 0727.

3.Enhance the compatibility of saver verifying. DSLink will automatically identify the saver type, without trying to choose type to save the game manually. But there are some little errors of automatically identifying which causes the saver error, so the coming software will enhance the function of identifying saver type automatically, to avoid the saving failure when verifying the errors of the new games.

4.Solve the problem that it appears black screen or white screen if quit while playing the game, like 0787.

5. Moonshell multi-media software embedded is updated to 1.6 version.

This is an excellent image browse software, which is siutable for reading cartoon pictures. And it is the latest 0.42 verdion. Please create the image package by using img2ipk first, then copy the .ipk file and Imgview.nds to tf card, run ImgView.nds.

If happens the situation that a few games appear to be disable of soft-reset function or white screen hang up, please cancel the soft-reset option in the interface of software, and then rewrite the game in.

2.Add the row number setting when press left or right key for scrolling in the system.ini of system setting file, which default value is 3. Three rows once when press left or right key for scrolling. Changing of this value is available, but it will scroll to the top or end if this value is greater than the actual files number.
